New T35C002 Print

New addition to the Excel Tweeter Line Product Group.

Again, SEAS confirms its position as the world's leading manufacturer og High End Tweeters.

Few months after the successful launch of the SEAS White Diamond, we now introduce another outstanding loudspeaker.

Our latest addition to the Excel tweeter product group is the T35C002, E0055-06.
A classic large dome tweeter with high sensitivity and smooth, extended frequency response. The high efficiency Neodymium

designs.

R&D manager Håvard Sollien sums up the new tweeter as follows:

  • Very high sensitivity providing excellent dynamics
  • Can be crossed low without audible distortion, even at high SPLs.
  • Super easy to design cross overs, becuase of the smooth response.

News at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest Print

SEAS at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest

It is with great pride and excitement we invite you to stop by the Madisound room, where we will launch our latest news.
Mr. Diego Ivars from our R&D department will travel to Denver, and be at your service together with Mr. John Stone.

First and foremost:
After 10 years of development and designs/redesigns, we can finally introduce:
Diamond dome tweeter
The limit for this unique product was no limit. It is beyond everything we have ever done at SEAS, challenging all the competence
we possess, using more than 60 years of experience resulting in a superior tweeter in every aspect. We are very proud and happy
to let you check out the preliminary data sheet, which we will send on request.

The second big news for the show is a new loudspeaker kit, which you can say is a resurrection of the old mega success Dynaco A25,
and we have named it SEAS A26:
We have designed a new Excel T35 dome midrange/tweeter, and combined it with the A26RE4 uncoated paper cone
woofer. Our conclusion after several hours of listening:
The SEAS A26 is a refined, yet simple and fun loudspeaker, meant for enjoying music to its fullest!

Welcome to Denver - to The Rocky Mountain Audio Fest - to the Madisound room - and take a closer look.
We are sure you will be amazed.

New FU10RB Print

New FU10 RB 10cm Full Range. Breathtaking SEAS Sound In A Small Package.

SEAS proudly introduce the newest member of its Prestige product lineup: the FU10RB.  A 10 cm full range driver designed from the ground up to set new standards of performance in this product category.

Unlike other small full-range drivers that emphasize their excursion capability: often at the expense of higher distortion and non-linear midrange response, the FU10RB is a finely balanced true full-range transducer that achieves the highest acoustic performance throughout its entire operating range.

Starting off with a totally clean sheet of paper, SEAS engineers designed each part of the FU10RB with the goal of advancing performance over what is currently available on the market for this type of product.

The FU10RB is the perfect choice if you are looking for the highest performance available in a compact full-range driver.  It is ideal for use in docking stations, desktop monitors, computer speakers, line arrays, and many other applications.  For further information and detailed technical specifications please click on the datasheet link here.

For information regarding availability and product samples, please contact your SEAS sales representative.

L12RE/XFC Coax application note Print

Dear SEAS customer,
Have you heard of our new, small coaxial driver?
It is a known fact that audio products tend to get smaller and smaller.
This is of course the ultimate challenge for a loudspeaker designer - to make a small cabinet reproduce great sound.

You probably also know that here at SEAS, we are driven by what we call "The Breathtaking Sound Experience", or
the goosebump feeling you get when you experience something extraordinary.
Our newest and smallest coaxial driver gives us this exact feeling!

At SEAS we are now looking forward to spring, and to celebrate the return of the sun and the milder temperatures,
we would like to share with you our application note for the L12RE/XFC.
You can download it here.

We hope to see some of you at The Sound And Vision Show in Bristol. Following SEAS staff will be there:

Managing Director  Mr Olav Mellum Arntzen
Purchasing Manager  Mr. Tage Johnsen
Marketing Manager Mrs Grethe Årum

New L26RO4Y Print

New L26R04Y Subwoofer.
This month, SEAS launches the newest addition to our DESIGN product line:
The L26RO4Y subwoofer, developed in cooperation with Linkwitz Laboratories in Corte Medera, California, the L26RO4Y will see its
first application in two new versions of the highly acclaimed Linkwitz ORION open baffle loudspeaker. The L26RO4Y substantially
improves the ORION's bass performance and dynamic capabilities.
We at SEAS are also very proud that the ORION loudspeaker now uses all SEAS drive units!

To quote Mr. Siegfried Linkwitz:
"There is more to a woofer than its published TS small signal parameters and X-max, derived from mechanical measurements.
In the Orion's open baffle, a woofer operates in the large signal domain; and its distortion, dynamic stability and limiting behavior
determine the sound. An open baffle is the most demanding and difficult environment for a long throw woofer."

To meet these stringent demands, the L26RO4Y subwoofer builds upon the already excellent chassis, magnet system, cone,
and surround of our L26ROY.  An all new FEA designed spider and 4 layer voice coil  wound on a stiff glass fibre former have been employed, resulting in
a driver with ultra long throw, very low distortion, and extremely  stable mechanical operation under all conditions; including open baffle systems.
The low Qts and Fs are ideally suited for active open baffle bass systems, but the L26RO4Y can also produce excellent results in enclosure based subwoofer
and multi-way systems.

For a complete set of specifications on the L26RO4Y, please check the Design page  pdf file.
