Below you will find some of the highlights from High End Munich in May.
We will close the SEAS factory from 10th of July, and reopen after summer holiday the 3rd of August. We wish all SEAS friends a great summer.
We will solve the mystery of the breathtaking sound experience.
In the new Crystal Cable speaker we see the result of a tweeter collaboration, bringing our White Diamond even further.
Progressive Audio presented a magnificent sounding speaker based on a coaxial Excel driver, and two additional Excel woofers.
The new AudioData flagship. This system is utilizing a new SEAS coaxial driver, with a pure Beryllium tweeter diaphragm.
Finally, we have the new Perfect8 Technologies system. The midrange drivers are based on W22 magnesium technology, combined with an Exotic magnet system (AlNiCo). The L26RO4Y is also shown through the beautiful transparent subwoofer cabinet.
SEAS is participating in the sound festival Only Connect: The Deep organized by nyMusikk in Oslo, Norway.
There will be two sound installations at SEAS. One in our anechoic chamber, and one inside the factory halls.
From the festival program:
At SEAS you will be given a rare opportunity to experience the anechoic chamber, an insulated, echo-free acoustic environment designed for acoustic research. The chamber will feature the sound installation Lontano by sound artist and composer Trond Lossius, featuring a series of surround (Ambisonics) field recordings.
In the factory space, vocalist and composer Stine Janvin Motland will demonstrate a new measuring and musical instrument that detects and regenerates body frequencies. The audience is invited to get their body resonance measured and translated into sound.
There will also be a tour of the factory with managing director Olav Mellum Arntzen.
